MAY

This month has been subtle and nourishing.

I spent time with my family a few times and it was amazing. Most importantly seeing my family performing a classical music concert was lovely. I want more of this and more of the art of music to be experienced in my family.

This month I have been living the moment a lot, this is a bit new for me. I noticed that May kinda flew by; lots of ideas and projects are starting but they all seem to vanish away like if it was from Ecclesiastes. What I think is that some of these ideas are a bit too large, or I simply need to take the first foot forward.

Let the Lord guide my steps.

Something big that happened this month as well was spending the National Sabbath for USA’s 250 was awesome.

Never did I ever, think that there would be a national sabbath and then be able to participate in it with my family. It was awesome and I would like more of it please (I am directing this to our King). Then we went to church and met up with a brother in Christ. These are fun times.

A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
— Proverbs 16:9
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
— Psalm 16:6

To continue the family saga; we had a graduation from my family.

It was awesome to see happen but honestly the graduation was a bit lacking - it did not feel celebratory as it should and honestly I blame the school. These are people who enjoyed the journey and stayed course. There should be more fun and excitement, I dont know, maybe I am critiquing to harshly.

Maybe I just think my family deserves more.

Another fun thing that happened was the Shavout weekend. Double-Sabbath is always fun and exciting, it really jump started my week and gave me some motivation for things I have been wanting to accomplish. I am excited for what my Lord has for me in June.
